主講人簡介: Ying Wang completed her PhD studies in the field of quantum photonic at the Niels Bohr Institute, Copenhagen University, under the supervision of Peter Lodahl and Lenonardo Midolo. She received her PhD degree in June 2021 and has since continued her research as s post-doc fellow until now. She received her master degree from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences and her bachelor’s degree from Central South University.

Photons as information carriers are benefited from the advantages of low decoherence, diverse degrees of freedom, and fast information delivery. In my work, self-assembledInAsquantum dots (QDs) are adopted as quantum emitters with assist from planar photonic nanostructures to tailor the light-matter interaction and enhance emitted photons collection. To perform photonic quantum computing, these photon sources are required to interface the advanced photonic integrated circuits (PICs). In a hybrid approach utilizing chip-to-chip connections to construct a multi-chip photonic processor, a deterministic single-photon source is utilized in conjunction with a programmable silicon-nitride integrated circuit. By combining state-of-the-art QD photon sources with the scalability of CMOS-compatible PICs inSiN, this platform shows great promise for advancing photonic quantum technologies.
