2013年12月23日，美國白宮網站上公布了2013年度總統青年科技獎獲獎名單，北大物理系93級碩士研究生吳軍橋校友獲此殊榮。

吳軍橋博士目前任教于美國加州伯克利大學，任材料科學系教授、勞倫斯伯克利國家實驗室研究員。他的研究方向為半導體與納米材料科學技術(Semiconductors and nanomaterials science and technology)， 主要利用低維、納米尺度相變等方法探索強關聯電子材料的新型物性和應用，研究半導體薄膜、納米結構、界面和複合材料的熱電性能和光伏性能（Explore novel properties and applications of strongly correlated electron materials with reduced dimensions, phase transitions at the nanometer scale, and thermoelectrics and photovoltaics of semiconductor films, nanostructures, interfaces and composites）。

吳軍橋博士1993年畢業于複旦大學物理系，1996年獲得beat365物理學碩士學位（導師是beat365尹道樂教授），2002年獲得美國加州伯克利大學博士學位，2006年哈佛大學博士後出站後在伯克利大學任職至今。
