浩瀚星空,奧秘無限。5月8日下午3點,在物理樓南408,順着李珂伽同學的指引,我們共同領略了星空的神奇。李珂伽同學是本期“萃英”研究生學術沙龍的主講人,天文學系06級博士生,師從喬國俊老師和徐仁新老師,主要研究高能天體物理。他科研表現出色,已發表文章數篇。
報告結束後,他認真回答了同學的提問,在科研工作方面與在場的同學進行了深入的交流,并總結了自己的科研心得:不要着急發表文章, 給自己一點時間成長起來。認定一個好的方向要堅持做下去。

報告摘要:愛因斯坦的廣義相對論預言了兩種引力波的偏振模式. 然而一般的引力理論預言多達六種的偏振模式. 地面激光幹涉儀一般被設計成探測廣義相對論體系中的引力波, 因此對于探測其他偏振模式的引力波将無能為力. 我們發現利用脈沖星陣列将可以探測其他引力理論的引力波. 我們構造了一般的引力波的數學基礎, 在這個基礎上我們計算這些不同模式的引力波對脈沖星到達時間的影響. 我們發現如果能夠獲得5年100ns精度的脈沖星數據, 将有可能探測到雙黑洞背景的引力波.
