The maximal triaxial deformationis reached in a neutron number of 68,Ru-112 and Pd-114, four neutrons more than the calculations.
羅亦孝研究員1967年畢業于中囯科大近代物理系，1977至2000年任中科院近代物理硏究所助理硏究員，副硏究員，硏究員，博導，先後任核結構室副主任、主任,近物所副所長，所長，中囯核物理學會副理事長，理事長。長期從事遠離穩定線原子核，包括新核素合成和高自旋核結構硏究。八十年代在意大利國家核物理科學院南方實驗室和英國Daresbury國家實驗室工作。2000年以來在美國Vanderbilt大學物理系和勞倫斯伯克利國家實驗室從事豐中子核高自旋核結構研究。
