Title： Dynamical models of the Galactic bar Speaker：王有剛博士 (國家天文台) Time： Thursday, 12：00AM, Nov.7th Venue： Yu Shu Yuan(玉樹園) Dining Hall Abstract: The Galactic bar is an important component in our Galaxy, understanding the Galactic bar may help us understand the formation and evolution of the spiral galaxies. In this talk, I will show our new dynamical models (Schwarzschild model and Made to Measure model) on the Galactic bar and present some primary results on our ongoing projects about the Galactic bar.
