報告題目： Digital Quantum Simulation: theory and experiment 報告人： Dr Man-Hong Yung（翁文波）清華大學交叉研究院報告時間： 2013-9-26 14:30 報告地點：理科樓B315 摘要： Quantum computer is believed to be able to perform tasks that are not intractable by classical computers. One of the key applications of quantum computer is to solve quantum many-body problems through simulation; this goal can be achieved by three steps, namely, state preparation, time evolution, and measurement. In this talk, recent theoretical and experimental progresses achieved by our group and others will be reviewed. The practical challenges for quantum simulation and possible solutions will be discussed.
