報告題目： Proximity Effect Induced Topological Superconductor and Signature of Majorana Modes 報告人：賈金鋒上海交通大學物理系報告時間： 2013-5-16（周四）16:00 報告地點：理科樓鄭裕彤講堂摘要： Topological superconductors (TSCs) have attracted a great deal of attention recently because of the Majorana modes they host, which can be used in fault-tolerant quantum computation relying on their non-Abelian braiding statistics. While TSCs are very rare in nature, it has been proposed that an alternative way to realize them is by inducing superconductivity in the surface states of a topological insulator (TI) through the proximity effect (PE). Here we report the first experimental evidence for PE induced TSC in Bi2Te3/NbSe2 and the observation of Abrikosov vortices and core states. In particular, we found unusual splitting behavior in the zero-bias peak of the core states that may be attributed to the formation of Majorana fermions. Our work demonstrates the promise of using proximity effect induced TSC for realizing topological quantum computing.
In cooperation with Jin-Peng Xu, Mei-Xiao Wang, Jian-Feng Ge, Zhi Long Liu, Ying Liu, Xiaojun Yang, Zhu An Xu, Chun Lei Gao, Dong Qian, Canhua Liu, and Qi-Kun Xue. 個人簡介：賈金鋒1987年本科畢業于beat365物理系，1992年獲得beat365物理系博士學位。先後在美國和日本工作5年，2001年起曆任中國科學院物理研究所研究員，清華大學教授，2009年7月被聘為上海交通大學特聘教授。
在SCI收錄的雜志上發表文章200多篇，其中Science 4篇，Nature Phys. 2篇，Phys. Rev. Lett. 15篇, APL/PRB 40多篇，綜述文章3篇。文章被引用3000多次。獲1997年獲國家教育委員會科技進步一等獎 (第2獲獎人)，2001-2002中國科學院“重大創新貢獻團隊”獎，2003年北京市科學技術獎一等獎(第3獲獎人)，2004年國家自然科學二等獎(第3獲獎人)，2005年中國科學院傑出科技成就集體獎，2011年香港求是科技基金會“傑出科技成就集體獎”，2011年國家自然科學二等獎(第1獲獎人)。2003年獲得“傑出青年”基金，2009年被評為長江特聘教授。
