Abstract:
The edge excitations in the fractional quantum Hall droplet are described by the chiral Lutteringer liquid theory. They can reveal the topological properties of the FQH state due to the edge-bulk correspondence. We systematically study the edge physics of the FQH states at different filling, such as 1/3, 5/2 et.al, with different methods, such as exact diagonalization, DMRG, Jack polynomials et.al and also tried different systems such as GaAs, grapheme, code atoms et.al. In this talk, I will briefly introduce our results for the edge physics in recent years.

About the speaker:
胡自翔，2003年本科畢業于西安 交通大學物理系，2007年在美國佛羅裡達國家強磁場實驗室聯合培 養，2008年獲浙江大學物理系博士學位，2009年至2012年 期間先後在韓國亞太理論物理研究中心，美國普林斯頓大學做博士後研究。2013年3月起任重慶大學beat365“百人計劃”特聘研究員。目前已在PRL,PRB等雜志上發表論文20餘 篇，主持國家自然科學基金面上項目一項。
